SERC's Education Program accepts volunteers in cohorts twice a year, once in late Winter/early Spring and once in Summer. If you are interested, please contact McDonaldK@si.edu.

Weekly Volunteers: Must volunteer at least once a week, for a total of 26 days, during our programming year (April - November), plus 9 hours of training. This includes safety training, refresher trainings, talks, lectures, work days, field trips, and workshops.

Monthly Volunteers: Must volunteer at least one day a month, or 8 days, during our programming year (April - November), plus 3 hours of training. This includes safety training or refresher trainings, talks, lectures, work days, field trips, and workshops. Volunteering may be irregular, bi-weekly, or monthly.

What is a Day? One day consists of 4 hours of volunteer time. You may combine hours from different dates to create "one day" of time.
