2012 to Present: Lab Manager/Administrative Assistant for the Marine Invasions Lab. I handle timekeeping, purchasing, inventory and other administrative functions within the Marine Invasions Lab. I serve on the lab IDEA Committee, Safety Committee, Administrative Committees. I also participate in the mud crab survey as a boat driver.
1998 to 2012: Stay at home mom to 4 busy kids.
1990 to 1998: Head Technician for the Crab Lab, under the direction of Tuck Hines. I managed long-term community ecology surveys, including trawls, seines, sampling the weir and a benthic sampling program. I also coordinated many experimental protocols, from tracking blue crabs to study feeding and migration patterns, to looking at predator-prey interactions.
