Project Coordinator for National Fouling Survey of marine invertebrates
Kristen is an ecologist working on identifying marine invasive species from surveys of fouing plates. Her role at SERC focuses around marine invertebrate taxonomy (with an emphasis on Tunicata), data management, and sample curation and management. She is also the Head technician for the Marine Invasions lab.
Research interests: Community and population ecology of marine invertebrates; Tropical-Temperate comparisons of species richness and diversity; Coastal invasions ecology, biofouling, Tunicata taxonomy
Education: B.S. in Biology (2001) St. Mary's College of Maryland.
