My research focuses on the physiology of photosynthesis in nature, spanning from a single leaf to a whole plant. In the past, I studied the mechanisms of photosynthesis in model plants in laboratory, chamber and greenhouse settings and conducted empirical studies on agricultural crops in the field. Currently, I am a member of the Quantitative Ecology Lab at SERC, which offers me a platform to model and understand photosynthesis at the ecosystem scale, with a specific emphasis on tropical forests.
