Christine Dunham is the program specialist for the Office of the Directorate, where she provides support and coordination for the Office of the Director, the SERC Advisory Board and on various special projects, including historic preservation grants and projects for SERC's historic and cultural resources. She was previously a management and program analyst for federal grant programs with the National Historical Publications and Records Commission at the National Archives; and was a senior program officer with the Chesapeake Bay Trust, where she managed multiple grant programs focused on improving local water quality, green infrastructure, environmental education and public engagement. Prior to that she worked as a Chesapeake Research Consortium environmental management fellow at the EPA’s Chesapeake Bay Program Office, on the land use and water quality connection, and with elected officials from all levels, for a national political organization in Washington, DC. She holds bachelor’s degrees from Penn State University and is pursuing two Masters degrees at the University of Maryland in urban planning and historic preservation, with a planning focus on land use, environmental planning and sustainability.
