I am a marine ecologist with a passion for science education. I joined SERC in April 2022 as a postdoctoral scholar with public engagement, focused on developing a educator professional development training program centered on growing educator - and ultimately student - environmental literacy through place-based education. My scientific research interests lie in the field of ecophysiology. In particular, I aim to understand how marine invertebrates respond physiologically and genetically to gradients of environmental stress, and how this relates to their ability to adapt to human-induced stressors.
