Want to learn more about how to collect Chesapeake Water Watch (CWW) samples without ever even touching the water? Are you a long-time volunteer looking for a refresher course?

Join us at ShoreRivers’ Easton location Wednesday, April 2nd at 6pm to learn more about the Chesapeake Water Watch’s handheld collection method: Hydrocolor! This hands-on training is a great way to try out new ways to get involved with CWW.

To let us know you’re coming, register here or click the button above.

In this training, you will learn what the Chesapeake Water Watch is, how to collect water samples with Hydrocolor, and how to upload the data you collect to our open-access database, FieldScope.

Training will be held indoors and expected to be an hour and a half long.

What to Bring:  Attendees will need a smartphone to practice using Hydrocolor.

To take Hydrocolor samples, volunteers will need an 18% photography grey card but it not required to attend this training. We will have spared to practice with.

If you already have an 18% photography grey card, you are encouraged to bring it to this training. If you would like to purchase your own, you can find them here.
